Step into Rick’s Picks: A Lifelong Affair With Guitars & Music and you’ll enter the creative mind and experience the rock & roll passion of one of music’s most legendary artists complete with a rotating, evolving exhibit of Rick’s guitars, many with their own stories told via iPad-driven interactive displays & kiosks.

Curators catalogued more than 5000 items for the exhibit–more than 2,000 of these gems are on display–and that does not include representatives of Rick’s 300-strong guitar collection – or guitars of celebrity friends like Brian May of Queen and Todd Rundgren. A concert stage features vintage equipment and historic concert footage as well as an “analog video wall” featuring vintage concert and music video footage. Large projected images pepper the exhibit and a rich audio track set the tone for an engaging and one-of-a-kind rock ‘n roll experience.

Rick’s Theater, features a short biopic “Rickumentary” movie that tells Rick’s story and features “Friends of Rick” like Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters/Nirvana), Todd Rundgren, Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Chuck Prophet (Mission Express), Joe Elliot (Def Leppard), Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), and many more.
