Rick’s Picks presents a state-of-the-art video-enhanced multimedia experience at the Burpee Museum in Rick’s hometown of Rockford, Illinois. Visitors to the exhibit will step into the world of one of music’s most enigmatic legends – his past, present and future. Curators catalogued more than 5000 items for the exhibit–nearly 3000 of these gems are on display, along with many of Rick’s amazing guitar collection. Even F.O.R.s (Friends of Rick) have loaned their own instruments.

A rich video and audio environment includes a 30-minute “Rickumentary” movie with interviews featuring Rick and family and friends, including Dave Grohl, Slash, Todd Rundgren, rock writer Ira Robbins, legendary music producer Jack Douglas, and more. A concert stage features vintage equipment and historic concert footage. Eye-popping projected video presents a feast for the eyes and a rich audio track set the tone for an engaging and one-of-a-kind rock & roll experience.
