Rick Nielsen and the Burpee Museum of Natural History invite you to experience an All Access Backstage Pass for Rick's Picks. Be among the first to view and experience this one-of-a-kind exhibit along with Rick Nielsen! Join us for light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar; two complimentary drinks included with each reservation.

Step through the entrance of the Rick’s Picks exhibit and you’ll be entering the mind and experiencing the passion of a rock legend. Complete with a rotating, evolving exhibit of Rick’s guitars, many with their own stories told via iPad driven interactive display & kiosks, a downloadable iphone/ipod tour and a backstage theater featuring a short form documentary and concert footage, the exhibit tells the story of Rick Nielsen’s unique love for music.
The Rick's Picks exhibit design includes
- A history of Rick, told through video, photos and memorabilia
- 360 degree walls featuring Rick’s guitars
- A projected/painted graphic wall filled with Rick’s lyrics
- Wall projections of Rick performing
- Display cases of Rick’s unique wardrobes over the years
- Posters and tour shirts from past performances
- Stage for unplugged performances by Rick and others
- Rick’s “friends room” featuring the guitars of other rock legends
- Sketches and roughs of Rick’s famous guitar picks
- Hand-written, original lyrics of some of the most famous songs in rock history
- Guest appearances and performances
